Operator Control Stations (OCS)
Manuvis products are built on a reliable, stable framework, and standards-based architecture for collecting data and transforming it into essential information. Here are some key facts about how our product differs from our competition:
- NO personal computers are required on the production floor
- Neither machine operators nor supervisors enter data
- Operators do NOT need to use bar code devices or refer to clumsy manuals to search for the appropriate bar code reasons to record events
- Data is captured directly from production machines
- OCS “panels” are either connected to existing PLCs in a non-invasive manner or are connected to production machines using thermocouples, limit switches, or other similar devices
- Data is transformed into actionable information based upon the needs of the user
